Creating Actors
-secondary actors-
Secondary actors take part in an event passively. They don't trigger the event but their state is affected by the execution of the event they take part in. Once the primary actors have been added, they are replicated so that they also appear for choosing and appending to an event as secondary actors. Therefore, there is no need on the part of the user to add secondary actors from scratch. Instead the user chooses the desired secondary actor for a specific event by clicking the event's secondary actor field. For example, consider the description below:
If the user wants to say that the first event must involve teacher as secondary actor, the user just has to click once on the secondaryActor field of that event. The following dialog comes up to enable the user to choose the secondary actor.
All the user has to do is choose teacher and the states of the teacher for that event. The final choices (for example) would look as below:
Clicking the commit button will register the elements for that event and update the description as follows:
By writing the first event like above, the user implies that "Student is at the initial state of has pen while the teacher is at an initial state of no pen. Because of that, the student gives pen to the teacher and ends (student) in the final state of no pen after that event, whereas teacher ends up in the state of has pen after that event. Any other event following this one would course other state changes.
